The South Eastern Railway on Wednesday (June 12) announced rescheduling of train services due to a non-Interlocking program for yard modification at Indrabil station in the Adra Division. According to a statement issued by the South Eastern Railway, Purulia-Tirunelveli Superfast Express will be delayed by two hours.
Originally slated to depart from Purulia at 10:00 hrs on June 24, 2024, the train will now commence its journey at 12:00 hrs, marking a delay of 2 hours. This rescheduling decision has been undertaken to facilitate necessary yard modifications, ensuring enhanced safety and operational efficiency along the route.
