Western Railway has announced a five-hour Jumbo Block on the Harbour Lines between Mahim and Goregaon stations on Sunday, November 10, 2024, to carry out essential maintenance work, including track repairs, signaling updates, and overhead equipment maintenance.

The block will be in effect from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, during which several train services will be affected. In particular, all Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – Bandra – CSMT and CSMT/Panvel – Goregaon – CSMT/Panvel Harbour line trains operated by Central Railway, along with some Churchgate – Goregaon – Churchgate Slow services, will remain canceled.
In other news, In a move to accommodate the increased passenger rush during the festive season, Western Railway has announced the operation of One Way Festival Special Trains on special fare between Valsad and Rajgir, as well as Udhna and Jaynagar.
Train No. 09019 Valsad – Rajgir Special departed from Valsad on Thursday, 7th November 2024, at 07:00 hrs andreached Rajgir at 16:00 hrs on the following day.
En route, the train will make stops at several stations, including Bhestan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Sasaram, and Gaya.
