Passengers onboard the 22531 Mathura SF Express experienced anxious moments on Monday morning when smoke began emanating from a coach due to a jammed brake. The incident occurred between Gauri Bazar and Baitalpur railway stations, prompting an unscheduled halt.

According to officials, the train guard and driver swiftly addressed the issue. “Upon receiving information about the smoke, the train was stopped on the up track. The driver and guard repaired the jammed brake, which was the source of the smoke,” Gauri Bazar station master Bharat Kumar stated.

The repair ensured the brake was functioning properly, and no passengers were harmed during the incident. The train resumed its journey after a delay of approximately 30 minutes.

Officials assured that the situation was handled promptly, ensuring the safety of all onboard. The Mathura SF Express continued towards its destination without further complications.
