Orange and Grey Vande Bharat Express
The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) revealed its inaugural Vande Bharat Express train in an eye-catching orange-gray color scheme a few months back. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that this new ‘tangerine’ coloured train was inspired by the Indian Tricolour. An official statement emphasised that the introduction of Vande Bharat trains signifies a higher standard of railway service in the nation.
These trains have top-tier amenities and advanced safety features, including cutting-edge Kavach technology. This marks a significant stride towards offering a modern, swift, and comfortable mode of transportation to the general public, professionals, businesspeople, students, and tourists alike.
Furthermore, on September 24, Kerala welcomed its second Vande Bharat Express. This train operates along the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram route and makes its way through Alappuzha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated nine Vande Bharat Express trains in September this year, namely the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express, Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express, Hyderabad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, Vijayawada-Chennai (via Renigunta) Vande Bharat Express, Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Puri Vande Bharat Express, Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express.
