The movement of passenger trains to and from Delhi continued to remain affected on Tuesday (January 30) due to dense fog and adverse weather conditions. 

Train passengers arriving in the national capital today faced significant delays. Passengers at New Delhi Railway Station faced difficulties as some trains have been running behind schedule due to bad weather.

19 Delhi-bound trains are running late due to operational reasons and fog conditions in some parts of north India, Indian Railways informed. 

Fog wraps national capital 

On Tuesday, fog wrapped parts of Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity at 8:30 am was 100 percent, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD) data.

The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 22 degrees Celsius. It was 22.6 degrees Celsius on Monday.

As per IMD, dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail in the morning hours in isolated pockets of northern states for the subsequent 2-3 days. States like Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, and north Rajasthan will continue to see foggy conditions.
