The Ministry of Railways has provided a significant update on the redevelopment work at Gadag Junction in Karnataka. According to a tweet by the ministry, major milestones have been achieved in enhancing the station’s infrastructure under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The key completed works include the construction of G+1 floors of the new station building, the erection of Foot Over Bridge (FOB) girders, and the foundation for lifts and escalators, all aimed at improving passenger convenience.

However, the redevelopment is still ongoing, with work-in-progress on the station building’s finishing, flooring, and staircase construction. These upgrades are designed to provide passengers with a more comfortable and modern experience at Gadag Junction, one of Karnataka’s key railway stations.
