Indian Railways has resumed the Neral-Matheran train services starting today. These iconic mini train services are being managed and operated by the Central Railway (CR) zone. Annually, these train services are temporarily halted during the monsoon season, from June to October, owing to safety precautions.

However, the services between Matheran and Aman Lodge continue to operate during this period. “Services o­n Neral–Matheran NG line will resume with effect from November 04, 2023,” Central Railway said in a statement.

Timings of Neral-Matheran train services:- 

A total of four trains will be operated daily in both directions. The timings are listed below.
