In Uttar Pradesh, the redevelopment work of Mau Junction railway station is being done at a fast pace, said the Ministry of Railways on Sunday. The renewal is being done under the Amrit Bharat Station Yojana.

During the rejuvenation, modern passenger facilities are being developed at the station. Along with this, the station building is also being given a grand look, the ministry informed in a social media post on X.

In the city of Mau, the station falls on the Prayagraj–Mau–Gorakhpur main line. It is well connected to important cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Aligarh, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Kolkata, etc.

The Mau Junction railway station has three platforms and 10 railway tracks. It comes under the North Eastern Railway Zone and Varanasi division. The railway station is electrified and offers free wifi service to passengers.

In another related but different development, the rejuvenation work at the Charlapalli Satellite Terminal Station in Telangana is also going on swiftly. Ninety per cent of the project is complete, informed the ministry recently.  

Upon completion, the station will not only be the 4th Terminal station in Twin Cities in Telangana but will also accommodate an additional 15 pairs of trains, informed the ministry in a post on the X.

The station (code – CHZ) is operated by South Central Railways. It has nine platforms and 19 railway tracks. It comes under the Secunderabad division of the Indian Railways.
