Oyo parent Prism on Friday announced the launch of CheckIn, a premium value hotel brand collection comprising over 1,300 hotels across India.
The entity will bring together Oyo’s existing brands, including Townhouse Hotels, Clubhouse, Sunday Hotels, Belville, and Palette Hotels, under one umbrella. The brand aims to cater to travellers seeking accommodation above budget options but below luxury hotels, targeting India’s growing middle-class segment.
What does the brand offer?
The brand promises five key offerings to guests: trained staff, wholesome breakfast, clean bedrooms, amenity kits, and in-room entertainment beyond free Wi-Fi. Within the portfolio, Townhouse Hotels is positioned as the entry-level brand while Sunday Hotels represents the top-end option. Each property will be professionally managed by dedicated CheckIn teams and management companies to ensure consistent service standards.
Ritesh Agarwal on CheckIn
“CheckIn is our commitment to elevate premium value stays in India. Just as Oyo transformed the budget travel segment, CheckIn will set a new benchmark for premium experiences by combining scale, service, and thoughtful design. Every guest can expect more than just a stay – they will enjoy a curated experience built on quality and trust,” said Ritesh Agarwal, founder and group CEO of Prism.
Founded in 2012 by Ritesh Agarwal, the company initially focused on standardising and organising small hotels through technology to make affordable stays accessible.
