Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs allow provinces and territories to select immigrants for permanent residency. These programs have various streams, nominating candidates who meet specific criteria such as holding a job offer, working in an in-demand occupation, having prior provincial work or study experience, or possessing the means to establish a business.

Each province and territory maintains its own immigration streams tailored to categories like students, entrepreneurs, skilled workers, or semi-skilled workers, all designed to boost the provincial or territorial economy.
