If you have been wondering if there ever could be a way to carry a bicycle inside a metro, then this would interest you.

A video has been going viral online which shows a man carrying his bicycle aboard a metro in Mumbai.

The man, Harshit Anurag, shared the video on Instagram wherein he can be seen take his bicycle on a Metro train in Mumbai. In the video, Harshit buys a ticket for himself and uses the escalator to reach the platform. After entering the train, he parks his bicycle in a designated stand where it stands upright. Harshit then sat on a foldable seat next to the stand. At the end of the video, he deboards the train, sits on the bicycle, and rides away.

Sharing the video, Harshit wrote, “Cycling through the bustling streets of Mumbai and combining it with a ride on the Metro is an exhilarating experience! Navigating the city’s traffic and then seamlessly transitioning to the Metro stations with your bike is a unique adventure. You get to explore different parts of the city, soak in the local culture, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. It’s a perfect blend of urban exploration and fitness.” The video was posted on October 9 and 122,949 likes so far.

Reacting to his video, an Instagram user wrote, “Don’t try [this] in Delhi Metro.” “Doesn’t matter if this is Delhi, Mumbai, or Chennai metros. I’m so glad that we are opening up to using amenities like this. That bro just became a new trendsetter. Love this,” another user posted.

As per Mumbai Metro authorities, the option to bring a bicycle onboard a Metro train is available only on the yellow line 2A and red line 7, The Indian Express reported.
