The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that the train services on the Blue Line will be briefly regulated on the morning of November 26 due to scheduled maintenance work between Blue Line’s Karol Bagh and Rajiv Chowk section on the intervening night of 25th and 26th November.

How will the Blue Line services be affected?

The DMRC took to X, formerly Twitter, to say that the train services will not be available from Karol Bagh to Rajiv Chowk up until 6 AM. It added that the Jhandewalan & Rama Krishna Ashram Marg Metro stations will remain closed till 6AM. The services on the Blue Line stations will start from 6 AM onwards.

In its tweet, the DMRC said that the services from Dwarka Sec-21 to Karol Bagh, and Rajiv Chowk to Noida City Centre/Vaishali will remain available as per weekday time table during this period. “To inform commuters, regular announcements will be made at stations & inside trains and additional staff will also be deployed,” it added.

Earlier on November 5, the services on Blue Line had been temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance work. Even back then the train services from Karol Bagh to Rajiv Chowk had been unavailable until 6 am on November 5 and the Jhandewalan and Rama Krishna Ashram Marg Metro stations remained closed until 6 am.
