The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a temporary suspension of train services between Jahangirpuri and Samaypur Badli from the night of November 16-17, 2024. Services will not be available from 9:46 p.m. on November 16 to 7:02 a.m. on November 17. During the same duration, three other stations, Rohini Sector 18-19, Samaypur Badli, and Haiderpur Badli Mor, will continue to be shut down.
Despite the disruption, metro services will continue to provide services as usual between Jahangirpuri and Millenium City Centre, Gurugram, during the standard revenue hours. Here is the list of the adjusted schedules for the affected sections:
1. Samaypur Badli-Millennium City Centre, Gurugram: First trip at 7:02 AM; last trip at 9:50 PM.
2. Millennium City Centre, Gurugram-Samaypur Badli: Services will commence at 6:00 AM and will continue till 8:30 PM.
3. Jahangirpuri-Samaypur Badli: The first metro will commence at 7:07 AM and the last metro will be at 9:46 pm.
4. Jahangiripuri-Millenium City Centre, Gurugram: Services will begin at 06:10 am and will continue till 11:07.
5. Millennium City Centre Gurugram-Jahangiripuri: Metro timings for this route remain unchanged. The first metro will be available at its usual time at 6:00 AM and the last metro will be at 11:00 PM.
Meanwhile, DMRC has also started selling tickets for the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Bharat Mandapam Complex. One can purchase the tickets online as well in offline mode. This is the first time digital ticketing has been introduced for the event. Commuters will be able to buy IITF tickets at customer care and ticket counters at 55 major metro stations until the last day of the fair on November 27. Online tickets have already begun from November 11. Passengers can also obtain tickets through the DMRC’s Delhi Sarathi app, thus offering buyers the option to access QR-coded tickets with ease. The initiative has been taken to reduce congestion at the ticket counters and to provide a seamless experience for the fair visitors.
