The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Tuesday (October 1) announced a partial suspension of Metro train services on October 3 along the Green Line to facilitate a statutory safety inspection of a new section.
Inspection between Nagasandra and Madavara stations
In its statement, BMRCL mentioned that due to the safety inspection of the newly constructed extension between Nagasandra and Madavara stations by the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (Southern Circle).
On that day, train services between Nagasandra and Peenya Industry Metro stations will be unavailable from 10 am to 2 pm.
Change in Bangalore Metro services
Services will continue on the Green Line between Peenya Industry and Silk Institute Metro stations. The last train departing Silk Institute for Nagasandra will leave at 9 am.
“During this period, trains will run only between Peenya Industry and Silk Institute Metro Stations on the Green Line. The train leaving Silk Institute at 9 am will be the last train going up to Nagasandra before the above curtailment,” it stated.
The BMRCL assured that services on the Purple Line remain unaffected.
