Sahara chief’s Subrata Roy parole was extended by the Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday till July 11. Roy was granted 4-week parole by the SC to attend rituals following the death of his mother.

The apex court extended release of Subrata Roy on condition that he will deposit Rs 200 crore with Sebi till 11 July to avoid going back to jail.

The apex court also directed Sebi to continue with auction of properties to recover dues to pay to the investors.

The SC permitted Roy’s movement within the country. However, it has asked Roy to keep police chiefs of UP informed about his movement.

Subrata Roy also submitted list of his immovable assets to SC, requesting court to keep details in a sealed cover.
