Cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar’s Delhi launch of autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’ celebrated the crossing of the 200,000 copies mark, a never before crossed milestone for an adult hardback.

Humorist Vikram Sathaye conducted the on-stage interaction in a hall packed with cricket stars, both past and present – Virendra Sehwag, Ajay Jadeja, Ashish Nehra, Gautam Gambhir plus a whole host of business leaders.

‘Playing It My Way’, which was released on 6th November has already broken all records for an adult hardback on order subscriptions across both fiction and non-fiction categories. The book has topped  200,000 copies in orders, already pulling ahead of both pre-order and lifetime sales of the top hardbacks Dan Brown’s ‘Inferno’, Walter Issacson’s ‘Steve Jobs’ and JK Rowling’s ‘Casual Vacancy’.

Hachette India will be co-publishing the autobiography  in Indian language editions too, including Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Assamese, Telugu and Bengali for a summer 2015 release.
