A new Air India offer announced today has cut ticket prices to a low of Rs 1,777, according to the airline’s statement. The Air India ‘Diwali Dhamaka’ scheme is the latest promotional offer by the national carrier in the recent string of passenger-friendly moves, which aim at not only providing greater benefits to passengers, but also look at luring more flyers to ramp up revenue in the face of the onslaught by nimbler private sector airlines.

The Air India ticket offer is valid solely on the carrier’s domestic flights, including domestic leg of the international flights. The Air India offer is open till November 7, 2015.

“Under the Air India Diwali Dhamaka offer, which is available from November 3-7, flyers get to book and travel at low fares starting at Rs 1,777 (all inclusive) on its domestic network,” the airline said.

Air India Diwali Dhamaka offer would be applicable for travel period starting from January 15 to April 15, 2016.

Air India’s domestic network covers 50 destinations, including the North-East, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
