After Hours with Neeraj Jain, CEO, Zopper
1. The job: Though the list is endless, if it has to be one unique thing I love about the job, it is the game-changing solution Zopper brings to the table both for consumers and its business stakeholders (merchants). It is an amalgamation of both online and offline advantages, making consumers’ pre-shopping experience better and adding business growth for its merchants. While I like everything about my job, the only thing that perhaps puts me off is missing the timelines.
2. The weekdays: I start my day at the crack of dawn. Fitness conscious, I start my mornings ambling around my abode followed by a meditation session. I hit the office everyday at 9:30am where I take stock of things from my team, discuss priorities for the day/ week/ quarter which is followed by pre-scheduled meetings till lunch. The second half of the day generally goes into working on new initiatives, speaking to potential talent to be a part of Zopper. Before the day reaches its business end, I catch up with my team again to identify and address bottlenecks, if any, and actively support them in resolving these.
3. The weekend: I spend quality time with family, play poker, read and, of course, do some shopping.
4. The toys: I prefer to use Apple gadgets. The iPhone 6plus and a Mac Boo Pro are my perfect companions.
5. The logos: I am not very brand conscious. I pick up anything which fits me well and makes me feel good.
