Auto component company Belrise Industries and Israel-based Plasan Sasa, an advanced armour and survivability solutions provider, have entered into a strategic agreement to jointly pursue opportunities in the Indian military market with the All-Terrain Electric Mission Module (ATEMM) systems. The collaboration also aims to establish and strengthen Plasan’s footprint in India.
ATEMM Series Vehicle
The ATEMM Series Vehicle is a self-propelled electric platform designed to enhance operational payload, energy efficiency, survivability, and mobility for modern armed forces. The ATEMM robotic platform improves tactical mobility and mission versatility, with applications spanning logistics, energy support, munitions, sensors, and effectors.
Through this partnership, Belrise Industries and Plasan aim to deliver advanced, mission-ready solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the Indian defence sector. The companies will focus on introducing and adapting the ATEMM platform for Indian military applications, with provisions for localised production and technology transfer.
Beyond the Indian market
Beyond the Indian market, Belrise will become an integral part of Plasan’s global supply chain, enabling cost-effective manufacturing of Plasan’s advanced systems in India. The agreement will be valid for three years, during which the partners will jointly identify, pursue, and execute business opportunities. These include tenders floated by the Ministry of Defence, public sector undertakings (PSUs), paramilitary forces, and other relevant government authorities.
The collaboration also includes joint participation in opportunities related to the ATEMM platform, further strengthening Plasan’s presence in India. Swastid Badve, Chief of Staff, Belrise, said, Belrise’s manufacturing capabilities will combine with Plasan’s innovation to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of the Indian Armed Forces.
Gilad Ariav, vice president, marketing and business development, said the partnership would not only serve India’s defence requirements but also strengthen Plasan’s global supply chain with cost-effective production from India.
