Last month on 18th of August, the Ahmedabad based Tourism Company; Flamingo Transworld celebrated their 20th anniversary by partly sponsoring the education of 10 children and teenagers lacking adequate means. This was a part of the Flamingo Foundation initiative that was started by the company to give back to the society in 2009. The idea behind the cause was to support all underprivileged people associated with Flamingo management or its employees in their Endeavour to carve out a better life for their children. “We have grown from being a 3 people travel agency to a 180 people organization & this would not have been possible without the good wishes and blessings of all the entire Flamingo family, which not only includes our team but also those who work for our team. Flamingo foundation is a part of our effort to make a difference to all members of our family,” quoted Mr. Sanjay Shah, MD & CEO, Flamingo Transworld when asked to comment on the initiative.
