NADP Collaborate with IIM Indore to Elevate Defence Management Programme with World-Class Education
With the introduction of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program the National Academy of Defence Productions (NADP) has announced the collaboration with the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM INDORE). This collaboration is focused on taking mentorship from IIM Indore to enhance the Quality for Excellence for various international accreditation under Defence Management.
The two-year full-time program is All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved, which includes extending expertise to NADP in curriculum design, resource planning, placement strategies, and overall program management.
Dr. J.P. Dash, Chief General Manager at NADP, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting IIM Indore’s prestigious international accreditations (EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA). He stated, “We are happy to partner with IIM Indore, which will provide students with the best through our partnership and collaboration to build capacity and capability for Atma Nirbhar Bharat in Defence.”
The programme will provide access to IIM Indore’s renowned faculty, ensuring a world-class learning environment to achieve intellectual growth and professional development. Additionally, NADP students will have the opportunity to participate in a week-long Summer Immersion program at IIM Indore, offering firsthand insights into the dynamic world of management.
This collaboration also opens doors for networking opportunities with peers, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals, as well as access to state-of-the-art facilities, libraries, databases, and other resources at IIM Indore. Furthermore, NADP faculty members will participate in various Faculty Development Programs conducted at IIM Indore to enhance their teaching methodologies and industry insights.
This Partnership is aimed to redefine management education in India especially in the field of defence production. With this step, NADP aligns with its vision to become an Institute of National Importance in Defence Technology (Land Systems) and Management, with the emergent needs of the Defence Establishments.
