In an effort to strengthen regional cooperation and deepening bilateral ties, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra of India and Nepalese counterpart Sewa Lamsal convened in New Delhi, marking Lamsal’s inaugural visit to India since assuming office.

Foreign Secretary Lamsal is on a visit to India to participate in the 8th Asia Economic Dialogue 2024 being jointly convened by the Ministry of External Affairs and Pune International Centre on 29 February 2024 in Pune.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 8th Asia Economic Dialogue 2024, underscores the firm commitment to fostering robust ties between the two neighbouring nations, underlining the pivotal role of dialogue and engagement in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.
