The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) has announced the launch of Airspace Asia Pacific, a new exhibition and conference dedicated to airspace and unmanned traffic management (UTM) in the Asia Pacific region. Scheduled to take place at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, China, from 9 to 11 December 2025, the event will bring together senior leaders from the air traffic management (ATM) and UTM industries to promote innovation and collaboration.
Simon Hocquard, Director General of CANSO, expressed his enthusiasm for this new initiative: “ This event represents our commitment to fostering a stronger ATM and UTM community in the Asia Pacific region by leveraging digitalisation, virtualisation, and other cutting-edge technologies.”
Victor Liu, Director-General of Civil Aviation of Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, also shared his excitement: “Hong Kong is a major international aviation centre. With our world-class conference and exhibition facilities, as well as renowned hospitality, I am sure the event will be successfully held in our vibrant city.
