Listed food delivery major Swiggy on Wednesday introduced an invite-only membership programme One BLCK, offering benefits like on-time delivery guarantee and complimentary cocktails, drinks or desserts for dining-out customers.

One BLCK members will be given the benefits of the company’s current Swiggy One membership, including unlimited free deliveries on both food delivery and Instamart, as well as exclusive member-only discounts on food delivery and Dineout.

“We are thrilled to introduce Swiggy One BLCK, designed to provide an elevated experience for users who demand the highest levels of service, convenience and exclusive privileges from Swiggy,” said co-founder Phani Kishan.

“Swiggy One BLCK is the business-class equivalent for our customers—refining the aspects that matter most to premium users: speed, reliability, and personalised care. With this launch, we’re setting a new benchmark for premium memberships in the industry.”

Available by invitation only, Swiggy One BLCK will be offered at a launch price of Rs 299 for a three-month plan. The company said that invitations to Swiggy One BLCK will be rolled out in phases, making this coveted membership available to select users across India.

At the start of the service, One BLCK members will receive a complimentary Yatra Prime membership.

“Existing Swiggy One members can also upgrade to this new membership,” the company said.

Under Swiggy One, members get free deliveries for orders above Rs 149 and in a radius of 10 km.

Swiggy’s first loyalty programme Swiggy One was launched in 2021. In 2023, it launched a low-frills version called Swiggy One Lite.

Swiggy One costs Rs 249 to Rs 749 for three months for most users, while the company also offers it at a lower rate to a few customers.

Swiggy One Lite offers benefits, including free deliveries, exclusive offers, and discounts at a price of Rs 99 for three months.

Major rivals also have loyalty programmes. Its listed peer Zomato also runs a loyalty programme—Gold—for food delivery and dining out. Currently, it is offering the membership at a discounted rate of Rs 30 for three months to some users.

Zepto also has its Zepto Pass programme, priced between Rs 149 and Rs 299 per month.
