Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Saurabh Garg, co-founder and chief business officer, NoBroker. com, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
My favourite pastime is reading. Whether it’s a gripping novel, a thought-provoking non-fiction book, or industry-related material, I enjoy its company in my leisure.
How do you spend your weekends?
On weekends, I really love spending quality time with my family. I love reading and listening to music with my son.
What are your favourite gadgets?
Kindle stands out as one of my all-time favourite gadgets. It’s a game-changer for travel, ensuring that I have a diverse selection of books readily available at my fingertips.
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
I love what I am doing presently. But if not that, I would have been a stock market investor.
Which is your favourite vacation spot?
It’s difficult to choose just one favourite vacation spot, but if I had to pick, I would say that Bhutan and Kyoto are two of my top favourites. Both these places are culturally rich and well-endowed with a lot of natural beauty.
A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching?
I think ‘’Big Bang Theory’’ is a great show to watch. ‘’Free Solo” is one of the movies I enjoyed watching. When it comes to ad campaigns, Happydent’s “Palace Tera Din Roshan” has always remained a personal favourite for its humour element and creativity.
