If you have important banking transactions underway, it is a good time to check the list of bank holidays in November. Banks will remain closed on different dates in November across various states. The holidays are on account of regional festivals, national holidays and state elections, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list.
November 5: Bank holiday in multiple states
On November 5, banks in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, and Srinagar will remain closed to mark Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartika Purnima, and Rahas Purnima.
November 6,7: Bank holiday in Bihar, Mizoram
On November 6, banks will remain closed in Patna and Shillong. In Shillong, banks will also remain closed the next day, on November 7.
November 8: Bank holiday in Karnataka
On November 8, banks in Bengaluru will remain closed on the occasion of Kanakadasa Jayanthi. It is also the second Saturday of the month, so banks across India will be closed.
Routine weekend holidays throughout November
This will be followed by the regular closure of banks across the country on November 9, which is a Sunday. Banks are shut on Sundays across the country. Therefore November 16, 23, and 30. Banks are also going to be shut on the fourth Saturday of the month, November 22.
Earlier this month, banks in Bengaluru and Dehradun remained closed on November 1 to mark Kannada Rajyotsava and other regional festivals. This was followed by a regular Sunday closure on November 2.

While physical branches will stay closed on these dates, customers can continue to access online banking, ATMs, and mobile banking services as usual. Customers are advised to plan their visits accordingly.
