Grammy award-winning musician Ricky Kej has voiced concerns about Air India’s services, citing two incidents that left him dissatisfied. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Kej shared his experiences from two recent flights with the airline.
Musician Ricky Kej recounted an issue at Delhi airport on September 14, before boarding a flight to Bengaluru. The problem arose during payment for excess baggage, which he said was mishandled.
He also described a separate incident on September 20 during a Mumbai-San Francisco flight, where flight attendants were initially unresponsive to a passenger’s repeated requests for service.
An Air India spokesperson, when contacted, stated that the airline has taken Ricky Kej’s feedback seriously and will implement “corrective steps where necessary so that such incidents are not repeated”.
Addressing the two incidents, Kej remarked, “I am certain a few people will troll me, asking me why do I keep doing this to myself… travel through such a terrible airline, but I will continuously give them chances and criticize them for errors, till they improve”.
The airline spokesperson also expressed regret over the inconvenience caused, adding that these isolated incidents do not reflect the overall commitment of Air India’s staff to service excellence.
