A Mumbai-bound Vistara flight from Paris received a bomb threat, prompting a full emergency declaration at the city airport prior to its arrival. The flight, carrying 306 people, landed at 10:19 am on Sunday (June 2). 

According to a PTI report, Vistara’s flight UK 024 from Charles de Gaulle airport to Mumbai received a handwritten note on an airsickness bag threatening a bomb.

“There were 294 passengers and 12 crew onboard the Paris-Mumbai flight,” the source said.

Full emergency declared 

In response, a full emergency was declared at 10:08 am. The flight, which had 294 passengers and 12 crew members onboard, landed safely at 10:19 am. 

Vistara confirmed the incident, stating, “a security concern was noted by our staff onboard flight UK 024 operating from Paris to Mumbai on June 2, 2024.” 

Furthermore, the airline immediately informed the relevant authorities and is fully cooperating with security agencies for all mandatory checks at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
