An IndiGo flight carrying 151 passengers, including Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, was forced to abort takeoff at Lucknow airport on Saturday morning. The Delhi-bound plane reportedly failed to lift off properly around 11 am as it neared the end of the runway.
According to eyewitnesses and airport officials, the aircraft struggled to get airborne. Acting swiftly, the pilot applied emergency brakes and brought the plane to a complete stop, avoiding a possible runway overrun. All passengers and crew were safely deboarded, and no injuries were reported.
After the aborted takeoff, IndiGo arranged another flight to accommodate the passengers and take them to their destination.

This is not the first time IndiGo has faced technical issues recently. Earlier this month, a Kochi-Abu Dhabi flight returned shortly after takeoff due to a technical problem.
The aircraft landed safely and was sent for maintenance checks. IndiGo later confirmed that flight 6E 1403 had detected a technical issue and the pilots decided to return as a precaution.
In another incident in August, an IndiGo Airbus A321 aircraft experienced a tail strike during a go-around at Mumbai airport amid heavy rain. The aircraft later landed safely after making another approach. The incident occurred during a low-altitude maneuver in difficult weather conditions.
