However, according to multiple media reports, the cost had surged by a staggering 104-415 per cent last week.
For instance, a round-trip ticket between New Delhi and Ahmedabad, usually priced at Rs 6,000 to 8,000 in ordinary circumstances, has surged dramatically to an astonishing Rs 30,000 to 35,000 in the week preceding the match. These astronomical rates have left cricket enthusiasts both amazed and worried about the affordability of this sporting spectacle.
