Colourful and sporty, SHQ1000 is an eye-catching headset made for athletes who want something to jazz up their training or warm-up sessions. Similarly, it can be handy for non-athletes, who don?t want anything too flashy or costly, during their morning exercises and walks. Panasonic and Seinheiser are relatively more favoured when it comes to sports headsets, but SHQ1000 fits the lower-end quite well.
SHQ1000 is adorned with an orange cable with white earbuds and has ear side mentioned on them. The white earbuds are then covered with unique orange silicon earcaps, which have a round split in one corner to distillate sound straight to one?s ear. The 1.2 metre cable, accompanied with a black clip, is long and sturdy and is coated with water resistant fibre. It also features a golden coloured 3.5 mm audio jack to connect with laptops, phones and PCs.
The sound quality matches the stylish looks of SHQ1000. Due to the unique design, sound doesn?t drift away and gets delivered wholly into your ear. The sound is loud and clear and plays well at full volume too. However, its specially designed earcaps are irritating and will leave your ear canal bruised if used for long hours. SHQ1000 is made of some water proof fibre and can be cleaned with water.
It is priced at R645, which is what any decent in-ear headset would begin from. Anyway, it doesn?t disappoint as far as its performance and looks are concerned. The only issue is the structure of the earbuds and the irritation it causes. SHQ1000 comes with 3 silicone earcaps in three different sizes and a carrying pouch.
