The State Bank of Patial will implement the debt waiver and debt relief scheme in letter and spirit so that the targeted section of the farming community gets full benefit. AC Varma, managing director of State Bank of Patiala, stated the scheme will be implemented before the June 30 and all branches have been advised to keep the list of beneficiaries of the scheme ready duly verified by a senior official. The accuracy and integrity of the lists will be ensured by these officials. The branch wise list of the beneficiaries may be displayed at the respective branch within a fortnight. Senior functionaries of the bank may undertake extensive field visits to ensure smooth implementation. Varma also added that Grievance Redressal Officers have also been appointed in all Regional Offices of the bank for quick disposal of complaint, if any.
