Ma Foi, the human resource (HR) service and staffing provider and currently a part of the Vedior Group since 2004, has become an arm of Randstad, the world?s second largest HR services company based in Diemen, Netherlands.
This follows the global buy of Vedior by Randstad. Vedior and Randstad are global leaders with complementary strengths.
The integrated entity holds major positions in many economies and is the global leader in professional staffing. Randstad, which has recently acquired Vedior, has a combined turnover of 17.6 billion euro as of 2007. With a diversified geographic mix and a balanced business mix, the combined entity spans the entire value chain of staffing and HR solutions in 53 countries, said MaFoi sources here.
Announcing the merger of Randstad and Vedior in India, Ma Foi managing director K Pandiarajan said, ?We are happy to become a part of Randstad. Consequent to this merger, Ma Foi has announced the integration of Team4U, a staffing company headquartered in New Delhi. Team4U focuses on mass customisation business and operates through its offices in nine major Indian cities. Team4U provides a crucial platform for Ma Foi to strengthen its leadership position in the growing Indian flexi staffing market. With this integration of Team4U with Ma Foi, the combined temp staff strength of Ma Foi will grow to over 46,000 and the core staff strength to 2054 in India. With this merger, Pandiarajan will become the managing director of Randstad India and will lead the integration process of Ma Foi and Team4U.
