The Orissa government has sought $250 million loan from World Bank for carrying out the third phase of the Orissa Socio-Economic Development (OSED) programmes in the state.
The loan is meant to support continued implementation of the structural, fiscal and administrative reforms needed to boost inclusive economic growth and achieve rapid poverty reduction.
A World Bank team, led by director Ernesto May, had met state chief minister Naveen Patnaik recently and discussed about the OSED programmes.
