With the deadlock in the Monsoon Session of Parliament over rising food prices finally coming to an end on Mon-day, AICC general-secretary Digvijay Singh told FE that despite the Opposition?s protests, there isn?t any ?great anger on the streets? over the issue.

While food inflation dropped to 9.67% in the second week of July, headline inflation is expected to remain in double digits till September. RBI has already hiked key policy rates four times since mid-March to supplement the Centre?s efforts to tackle inflation.
