Miditech Private Limited and Global Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Cannes to strengthen their partnership with a pact of agreement where Miditech will produce television shows for Indian broadcasters using the formats developed by Global agency and on the other hand Global Agency would distribute the formats developed by Miditech to International Broadcasters. The MoU was signed by the Managing Director of Miditech Pvt. Ltd, Nivedith Alva and Chief Executive Officer of Global Agency, Izzet Pinto.
The MOU underscores both the companies? commitment to strengthen their position in the Indian television space by agreeing to use the formats for television shows developed by either of them.
Over the past 17 years, Miditech has become the biggest producer of global formats in India having successfully localized mega global formats like Pop Idol, Deal or No Deal, Extreme Makeover, Sesame Street, Fame Academy and many others. In addition, Miditech also creates original non scripted and scripted formats, many of which are set to travel globally, through a range of alliances that have been established the latest of which being with Global Agency.
Global Agency is renowned for sourcing, creating and introducing some of the most controversial formats around the world, of which one was Perfect Bride, on which Miditech and Global Agency partnered last year for the Star Network in India.
The reality series, Lux Perfect Bride on Star Plus, enthralled audiences all over the country. Owing to the huge response of the show, both the companies aim to strengthen their relationship in India and around the world
