Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has approved an estimate of Rs 35.10 crore for the special repair of state highways and major district roads during the year 2010-11.

The public works (building and roads) minister Randeep Singh Surjewala said Rs 4.25 crore have been sanctioned for the special repair of 68.48 kilometre Sardulgarh-Sirsa-Ellenabad-Hanumangarh-Tibbi road upto Rajasthan border in Sirsa district. This road connects Sirsa city with Punjab and Rajasthan. Haryana has also sanctioned Rs 60 lakh for the stretch of this road from Ellenabad to Rajasthan border from 70.76 kms to 77.06 kilometres.
