A spokesman of the Nigam said here on Thursday that the facility would not be provided to the defaulters. The conversion from horticulture to agriculture shall be done by converting the existing system into high-tension configuration by installing distribution transformer right at the bore of the consumer or nearby by extending the 11 KV line upto that point.

The willing consumer will be required to deposit Rs 20,000 as consent money and Rs 7,000 per span on the existing HT/LT line and also for additional HT line, if any to be erected.
