Crude palm oil futures prices traded marginally higher by Rs 0.50 to Rs 362.60 per 10 kg on scattered buying by traders on hopes of pick up in demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, crude palm oil for May contract gained Rs 0.50, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 362.60 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,897 lots.
The oil for delivery in April also traded higher by Rs 0.40, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 361.40 per 10 kg in 2,225 lots.
Market analysts said scattered buying by traders on expectations of pick up in demand in the spot market, influenced crude palm oil prices at futures market.
