Public sector lender Corporation Bank reported a 41.75 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 261.24 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2009.

Total income increased to Rs 2,101.52 crore in the latest quarter to Rs 1,446.28 crore in the corresponding year-ago period.

Shares of Corporation Bank were trading at Rs 349.15, up 1.22 per cent over previous close on the BSE.
