Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) will take a call on a fraud involving a Citibank employee who sold unauthorised financial products, Sebi chairman CB Bhave said on Friday. ?We will take appropriate decision at appropriate time,? Bhave said when asked about the market regulator?s action on the case. Earlier this week, Citibank had said it filed a First Information Report with the Gurgaon police after the bank’s internal probe revealed suspicious transactions based on documents forged by an employee.
