Foreseeing good opportunities in Ukraine for business development, Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), for the first time, is planning to participate in the 14th international fashion fair-KYIV Fashion 2008, which is being held at Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. The four-day international fashion fair, beginning February 18, is touted to be one of the most important events in the development of the fashion industry in the Caspian region.
Every year, the fair attracts international companies from Asia, Europe, the US, and other CIS countries. Last year, the KYIV Fashion fair had participation from about 2,000 buyers and 12,600 visitors across the world. Nearly 34 countries had showcased their products at the fashion fair in categories including ladies, men, and children?s clothes, sportswear and jeans, youth fashion, fancy goods, fashion accessories, knitted garments, and costume jewellery.
The KYIV FASHION 2008 exhibition is considered to be the right place to meet well-known designers, stylists, and image-makers, and exchange ideas. It is the right platform to present latest achievements, new collections, and newest technology in the fashion and apparel industry. Leading brands, fashion houses, and salons from across the world are expected to take part in the event, according to AEPC.
