Navi is quite a revolutionary product. It is an interesting combination of a scooter and a motorcycle design. It smartly combines the easy-going nature of a gearless scooter and the fun of a small motorcycle. Powered by the same 109.19cc engine from the Activa 3G, Navi produces 8 BHP of power and 8.96 NM of torque. The gear system is Variomatic and the front and rear brake levers are on the right and left side of the handlebar respectively. And there’s a range of accessories to customize Navi according to one’s own style and requirements.

Honda Navi Braking and Safety

While there’s no option of a front disc brake, Navi is equipped with 130mm drum brakes at both ends to do the braking duty. They work fine for Navi’s weight and performance but it would have been nice to have the CBS mechanism as well. Also, both tyres are of tubeless variety making them more resistant to punctures as they do not deflate instantly in case a nail gets in. This increases the safety aspect further.

Navi is capable of providing one of the fuel efficient rides in its class thanks to the HET technology. Real world mileage is well above 60 kmpl.
