CB Hornet 160R is the sportiest naked motorcycle from HMSI in the 150cc-160cc segment. The Euro 4 compliant 162.71cc engine produces 15.66 BHP and 14.76 NM of torque. It also features Honda’s renowned HET technology for the best possible combination of fuel efficiency and performance. The styling is modern and the Hornet comes across as the sharpest looking motorcycle in its class. At the front, there’s the aggressive headlight assembly followed by the edgy and muscular fuel tank. This is nicely complemented by the sporty tail section with the ‘X’ shaped tail light. There’s the petal disc at both ends with CBS and also a fully digital instrument console.

Honda CB Hornet 160R Braking and Safety

CB Hornet 160R lives up to its sporty character by incorporating petal style disc brakes on both wheels. The front is a bigger 276mm disc while the rear has the smaller 220mm rotor and both provide ample stopping power to slow down and bring the motorcycle to a complete stop under different circumstances. Honda’s Combi Brake System technology is also there for added safety which enables both brakes to function when only one is applied. Increasing the safety aspect further are the 17-inch tubeless tyres. While contributing to the sportier handling, tubeless tyres also ensure safety during a puncture as they do not deflate instantly.
