Hero MotoCorp Super Splendor

The BS6 Super Splendor is built on an all-new diamond frame and has changed in dimensions too when you compare it to the older model. This is Hero’s offering in the 125cc segment and it gets a single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine with xSense technology. The company claims that the new engine generates 19 per cent more power than before. This brings the power and torque outputs to 10.73hp and 10.6Nm, respectively. The 125cc engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission instead of a 4-speed unit as seen in the BS4 version. Like many other Hero motorcycles, the Super Splendor also comes with i3s technology that helps save fuel. Hero is offering the Super Splendor in two variants – drum and disc. The drum brake version has a price tag of Rs 71,100 (ex-showroom) and the disc brake version sells for Rs 74,600 (ex-showroom).
