Hero MotoCorp HF 100

Rs. 49.40 - 49.40 K *

Ex-showroom Price (New Delhi)

The HF 100 is the most affordable motorcycle by Hero MotoCorp and comes in at a price of Rs 49,400 (ex-showroom). It is a more basic version of the HF Deluxe but looks almost the same. There are subtle changes in the design and graphics, but for the most part, the two motorcycles look identical. It comes with the same 97.2cc engine with fuel-injection technology and makes a peak power of 7.9hp and a peak torque of 8.05Nm. These figures are the same as the HF Deluxe. The gearbox is a 4-speed unit and you get 18-inch alloy wheels on both ends. HF 100 is being sold in only one variant and with just one paint scheme - Black with Red. The black theme extends to the alloys, rear shock absorbers and grab rail as well. This gives the entry-level commuter a rather sporty look.

  • Hero MotoCorp HF 100 Design and Build

    Hero MotoCorp HF 100

Visually, there is very little difference between the HF 100 and the HF Deluxe. This means that the HF 100 also sports simple but rather neat looks. The rear tubular grab handle feels a little out of place but the all-black paint scheme gives this bike a sporty look. Even the 18-inch alloy wheels come draped in black.

  • Hero MotoCorp HF 100 Riding Ergonomics

    Hero MotoCorp HF 100

In terms of dimensions too, the HF 100 is very similar to the HF Deluxe and both bikes provide a similar riding experience. The seating position is upright and the suspension setup provides plenty of cushioning. There is enough room for two people, thanks to the long and comfortable seat.

  • Hero MotoCorp HF 100 Engine

    Hero MotoCorp HF 100

Being an entry-level commuter motorcycle, the HF 100 comes with a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 7.9hp and 8.05Nm of torque. The engine is the same unit that is also seen on the HF Deluxe. It comes with fuel injection and delivers a smooth and quick acceleration. The engine has enough grunt to transport two people around town with ease but it might not be the best companion for highway rides.

  • Hero MotoCorp HF 100 Transmission

    Hero MotoCorp HF 100

The 100cc engine in the HF100 comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

  • Hero MotoCorp HF 100 Braking and Safety

Hero is offering the HF 100 with only drum brakes. Since this is a small 100cc motorcycle, the 130mm drum brakes combined with IBS can easily bring this bike to a halt.

  • Hero MotoCorp HF 100 Mileage

As the engine found in the HF 100 is the same as the HF Deluxe, it delivers a similar fuel economy. One can get around 70km out of 1-litre of fuel when riding on this motorcycle. The fuel tank is slightly smaller at 9.1-litre and hence results in a slightly lesser overall range.
