Hero's Xpulse 200T is based on the Xpulse 200 but is more attuned towards touring. However, it comes with just single-channel ABS. Powering the Xpulse 200T is a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine making 17.8hp of power and 16.15Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Hero currently offers the Xpulse 200T in only one variant that sells for Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom). • Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T Design and Build

    Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T

Hero Xpulse 200T is a road-biased version of the Xpulse 200 and the 'T' stands for touring, although the bike is not an outright tourer. At the front is an all-LED headlamp that offers better illumination than a halogen unit. The motorcycle gets 17-inch alloy wheel on both ends that look good. Overall, Hero has given a retro touch to the motorcycle with a minimalistic approach to design.

  • Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T Riding Ergonomics

    Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T

The Xpulse 200T is intended to be a touring motorcycle and thus, the riding position is quite upright and relaxed. It is perfectly manageable even for short riders and is easy to manoeuvre even in city traffic. The handling on this one is better compared to the Xpulse 200 and the 200T feels nimbler and more agile during corners.

  • Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T Engine

    Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T

Hero Xpulse 200T draws power from a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine mated to a five-speed transmission. The engine is good for churning out a peak power of 17.8hp and torque of 16.15Nm. While the engine feels refined most of the time, vibrations become apparent as the revs climb higher. The bike can feel stressed while doing triple digit speeds on the highway.

  • Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T Transmission

    Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T

The engine on the Hero Xpulse 200T is mated to a five-speed transmission with one down, four up shifting pattern. The gearshifts are smooth and precise and we hardly experienced any false neutrals during the first ride of the motorcycle.

  • Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T Braking and Safety

Braking on the Hero Xpulse 200T is taken care of with the help of a 276mm disc brake at the front along with a 220mm disc brake at the rear. A single-channel ABS is on offer for added safety and convenience.

  • Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T Mileage

The fuel tank on the Hero Xpulse 200T has a 13-litre capacity and the bike should return a fuel efficiency of roughly 40kmpl under normal riding conditions. Having said that, the bike should offer you a range of close to 520km once you go for a full top-up, which is really good if you wish to go touring.
