Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T

Rs. 94.00 - 94.00 K *

Ex-showroom Price (New Delhi)

Hero's new Xpulse 200T is based on the Xpulse 200 but is more attuned for touring. It has got black 17-inch alloy wheels, fully-digital instrument console with Bluetooth navigation, LED headlights, tail lamps, and disc brakes at both ends. Hero provides single-channel ABS though. The engine though will get the biggest change. It will have an oil-cooler added to it and at the same time, the power and torque outputs will be down than before. The Hero Xpulse 200T's engine should make 17.8hp of power and 16.45Nm of torque. A 5-speed gearbox is paired with this motor. The engine is expected to be smoother than before as is evident with the BS6 Xpulse 200 model. The top range should also be quite decent given the engine modifications. It is the only adventure-tourer in this category and price range. The expected price should be around Rs 1.08 lakh, expensive by Rs 6,000 than before. The launch will happen this month.

  • Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T Design and Build

    Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T

Hero XPulse 200T is the road going version of the XPulse in which 'T' stands for touring, although the bike is not an outright tourer. The front end of the motorcycle gets an all LED headlamp that offers better illumination than a regular unit. The motorcycle gets alloy wheels that not only look quite decent but also serve the purpose well.

  • Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T Riding Ergonomics

    Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T

On the Hero XPulse 200T that intends to be a touring motorcycle, the riding position is quite upright and relaxed. The motorcycle is perfectly manageable even for short riders and is easy to maneuver even in city traffic. The handling on this one is better compared to the XPulse and the 200T feels nimbler and more agile during corners.

  • Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T Engine

    Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T

Hero XPulse 200T gets power from a 199.5cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed transmission. The engine is good for churning out respective power and torque outputs of 18 bhp and 17 Nm. The engine is refined but vibrations become a bit apparant during higher revs.

  • Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T Transmission

    Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T

The engine on the Hero XPulse 200T is mated to a five-speed transmission with one down, four up shifting pattern. The gearshifts are smooth and precise and we hardly experienced any false neutrals during the first ride of the motorcycle.

  • Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T Braking and Safety

Braking on the TVS Ntorq is taken care of with the help of a 276mm disc brake up front along with a 220mm disc brake at the rear. A single-channel ABS is on offer as standard for added safety and convenience. Furthermore, the bike gets an all LED headlamp up front that lights up the road better than a regular unit.

  • Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T Mileage

The fuel tank on the Hero XPulse 200T has 13-litre capacity and the bike should return a fuel efficiency of 40 kmpl under real time riding conditions. Having said that, the bike should offer you a range of close to 450 km once you go for a full top up, which is really good if you wish to go touring.
