The Maestro Edge 125 is equipped with i3S idle-start-stop system that aids in delivering a better fuel economy. Braking duties are taken care of by drum brakes at the rear and a choice of  disk or drum brake at the front. For added safety, Hero also provides Integrated Braking System (IBS) as standard along with a side stand indicator. The instrument cluster has an analogue speedometer along with a small digital display.
