TVS XL 100
One of the most trusted two-wheelers for carrying load in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, the TVS XL100 now comes with a BS6 compliant engine. The moped hasn’t received any changes cosmetically. It is powered by a 99.7cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates 4.3hp and 6.4Nm of torque mated to a single-speed transmission. The company claims that the BS6 XL100 delivers 15 percent better mileage than before. The kerb weight of XL100 has also increased by 3kg and now it weighs at 89kg. The XL100 is available in three variants – Heavy Duty i-Touchstart, the Heavy Duty i-Touchstart special edition and Comfort i-Touchstart. The XL100 price starts at Rs 43,889 and goes up to Rs 44,614 for top version, ex-showroom.
