TVS iQube is the company's second innings in the electric scooter segment. The first one being TVS Scooty Teenz electric that was launched back in the year 2008 but the same was discontinued due to poor demand. In terms of visuals, TVS iQube gets a sleek LED headlamp and the same styling continues at the rear as well for the tail lamp. The electric scooter comes with two riding modes namely Eco and Power and has a top speed of 78 kmph. On the other hand, when it comes to range, the iQube can run 75 km in a single full charge. Like the TVS Ntorq and Apache, the iQube also gets the company’s Smart Xonnect feature all thanks to which you can keep a record of the vehicle statistics and set geo fencing. Moreover, you can also connect your phone to the scooter via Bluetooth after which you get calls and message alerts on the instrument cluster for better convenience. • TVS iQube Design and Build

    TVS iQube

TVS iQube gets a mature and simple looking design and from some angles, you can clearly see design cues taken from the Jupiter. Another reason why the scooter looks quite premium is because the body is devoid of any graphics. The electric scooter gets diamond cut alloy wheels and these are the same units that you must have seen on the Jupiter Grande edition. In terms of the overall fit and finish, TVS has maintained quite a standard this time as well and the quality of material used looks top notch.

  • TVS iQube Riding Ergonomics

    TVS iQube

TVS iQube offers a quite upright riding position. The floor board offers enough space and hence, even riders of 6-feet height should not have much complaints. The scooter gets 12-inch wheels at both ends that certainly contribute to handling and better straight line stability. Even during sharp corners at high speeds, the TVS iQube doesn’t tend to lose its composure.

  • TVS iQube Engine

    TVS iQube

TVS iQube gets an electric hub motor that is mounted at the rear wheel and is rated at 5.9hp. The maximum torque output claimed by the company at the rear wheel is also quite impressive at 140Nm. Our test run revealed that the scooter can do a top speed of 51kmph in Eco mode and 81kmph in Power mode. However, it has to be noted that the said speeds were achieved when the battery charge was over 90 percent. The best part is that the performance doesn’t drop drastically even when the charge falls below 40 percent.

  • TVS iQube Transmission

    TVS iQube

TVS iQube is a gearless automatic scooter and hence, offers better convenience and can be ridden by anyone with equal ease. All thanks to the instant torque, the iQube offers quick acceleration and hence, you can ride it maintaining a similar pace with most of the petrol powered two-wheelers, especially in the city.

  • TVS iQube Braking and Safety

TVS iQube gets its braking done with the help of a 220mm disc brake upfront along with a 130mm drum brake at the rear. Both, the front and the rear offer a fantastic feedback and bite. Even while having a drum unit at the rear, you won’t feel that the braking performance is not upto the mark. The scooter gets a park assist function as well in which you get two modes namely Forward and Reverse. In terms of safety, the scooter also gets a parking brake and all features of the Smart Xonnect are a cherry on top as these let you track your vehicle and prevent any theft.

  • TVS iQube Mileage

TVS claims a range of 75 km for the iQube and in order to see if the claim is true, we will have to wait till the scooter comes to us for a proper road test. The scooter also comes with regenerative braking and upon asking the company more details about it, TVS said that the iQube comes with 30 percent regeneration rate, all thanks to which you get an additional 8 to 10 km per single full charge. The instrument cluster on the iQube also shows when the regeneration is happening.
